Job Description Summary

Enterprise Housing Credit Investments is seeking a Director, Investor Relations to assist with the management of investor bid authorization and investment closing processes for low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) investments. Extensive knowledge of LIHTC along with strong real estate financial analysis and underwriting skills is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Urban Planning or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience underwriting LIHTC investments.
  • Understanding of LIHTC deal structuring, closing of transactions, industry standards and the role of the upper tier investor.
  • Demonstrated ability to present risks/mitigants, assist with resolving legal and technical issues and negotiating terms of LIHTC transactions.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to prioritize conflicting demands and meet deadlines.
  • Must be highly service oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently, solve problems and possess strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Interest in working for a mission-driven organization committed to diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Extensive Excel modeling skills required. Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Power Point. Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Willingness to obtain FINRA licenses, as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage and provide support for key investor relationships, with responsibility for closing both proprietary and multi-investor funds.
  • Develop understanding of investor specific goals, processes, and underwriting standards.
  • Prepare, review, andcoordinateproject summary information ininvestor-required formatfor projects that are in various stages of underwritingusingallinformation availablefor accurate andappropriate disclosure ofbusiness terms andinvestment strengths, risks, andmitigants.
  • Assist with the property template data collection process, with a focus on ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Coordinate with project Underwriters and/or Originators to respond to investors' property-related questions and requests.
  • Coordinate with the Acquisitions team to ensure financial projections are prepared in accordance with proprietary investors' requirements.
  • Assist with the management of investor due diligence, review of partnership agreement terms and fund closing processes, including working with Legal, Underwriting, Credit and other internal or external stakeholders.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Assist with other Investor Relations priorities as requested (e.g., Asset Management, Acquisitions, assistance to other lines of business, etc).
  • Participate in and contribute to group meetings and discussions.

The base salary for this role is $145,000 to $165,000, depending on level of skills and experience.

The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance.
