Client: Well-Known Non-Profit Organization
Role: Temporary Data Analyst

Duration: 3+ Months with the opportunity to extend based on performance!
Pay Rate: $25/hr - $28/hr

Location: Midtown, Manhattan - Hybrid (3 days a week in office - Tues, Weds, Thurs)
Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Job Description:

* Manage active data collection across the organization.
- Work with each department to document and share performance data in a timely fashion for quarterly submissions to our organization-wide "dashboard."
- Improve organizational dashboard to be more automated and interactive (exploring tools, including Tableau, which are cost effective and less manual).

*Deliver coaching and support to departmental leaders.
- Maintain and improve existing data collection routines.
- Assess data collection needs and develop tailored responses.
- Provide hands-on support to all departments on their data development agendas - i.e., supporting the creation of stronger tools and methodologies for conducting surveys.

*Support strategic communications and reporting.
- Partner across the Office of the Executive Vice President, including with the Strategic Initiatives team, to collaborate on the development of strategic communications materials including data visualizations and annual reports.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
* Bachelor's degree or higher, with coursework in data analysis, research methodology, or related subjects.
* 2-5 years of experience in data collection, data management, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and creation of analytical products like reports, visualizations, dashboards, etc.
* Knowledge of and experience using publicly available data sources related to public policy, public affairs, etc.
* Strong competency with basic software applications (Microsoft Office Suite) required.
* Expert level user of Microsoft Excel.
* Experience with database software and SPSS (or comparable) analytic software strongly preferred.
