Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive accounts receivable & collection efforts for division
  • Serve as primary support for all areas related to accounts receivable.
  • Perform AR related tasks and responsibilities.
  • Communicate with clients and customers to collect payments and accurately record them in the system.
  • Update and maintain client AP contact and billing information data.
  • Prepare and distribute subsidy billings and monthly customer statements.
  • Prepare miscellaneous accounts receivable billing and adjustments.
  • Process credit card payments and reconcile cc balance sheet accounts related to AR payments.
  • Lead and coordinate collection activities with district and unit managers
  • Attend and serve as primary contributor on weekly AR collection calls.
  • Other duties as assigned by controller.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks and priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Collection and accounts receivable experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Knowledge of account reconciliation processes and procedures preferred.
  • Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
  • Supervisor experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Excel a plus
  • Accounting/finance experience a plus
