POSITION SUMMARY The incumbent in this position is responsible for general material handling of inventory materials in the warehouse. This position is the owner of the inventory and production orders responsible for allocating material to and from all orders. Responsible for material counting and transacting at the stages of put away to stock, issuing from stock to production, receiving stock from production and cycle counting. Organize and maintain storage areas and deliver materials and supplies to internal customers. This position may be assigned to either the Reflow or Metals Warehouse. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Stack, shelf and label warehouse stock for quick and easy identification and retrieval.
- Document inventory by logging and/or scanning materials in and out of inventory database.
- Assign all raw materials to production orders and own the reconciliation of scrap, finished goods and raw materials remaining at the end of jobs.
- Close all production orders the day they are complete.
- Maintain storage areas by organizing rack / bin locations to ensure first in-first out, inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Move stock or other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers by hand or using pallet jacks, forklift, carts, or other equipment.
- Deliver or route materials and supplies to departments using hand truck, forklift, or sorting bins.
- Attend training to comply with federal and state regulations.
- Adhere to EMS and IATF 16949 Policies and Procedures.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
REFLOW AND METALS WAREHOUSE
- Physically receive and transact bare metals into rack/bin locations.
- Receive and weigh inbound receipts from platers-Vanguard and Ameriplate
- Maintain packing slip file
- Coordinate with Supervisor to assign plated metals to designated production orders
- Maintain plating log tracking outbound to suppliers, list:
- Production order number
- Date shipped out (weigh pounds shipped out)
- Date of plated material returned (weight of pounds received back)
- Calculate difference of outbound and inbound coil weight
- Transact tickets provided by supervisor-issue material to production orders
- From completed reflow-weigh and deduct unused metals from production order-transact metals back to rack/bin location.
- Organize solder reconciliation area
- Handle, weigh and move scrap removal / deposit to designated bins
- Cycle counting per weekly schedule requirements
- Maintain an orderly and safe inventory storage area-practice 5 S
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to proficiently use computerized scanning devices.
- Ability to work effectively with team members.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of hands-on warehouse experience preferably working in a manufacturing environment.
- Detail-oriented and have good organizational skills.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Experience and/or the ability to operate a forklift, hand or pallet jacks, carts and other warehouse equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
