Avivo Village offers a secure, supportive environment for unsheltered individuals working towards long-term housing solutions. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Team Lead at Avivo Village, you will ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, provide supervision and training to Resident Advocates, and manage the operational demands of daily shifts within our 24/7 program framework. This role may require flexibility in shift coverage and a readiness to address urgent client needs effectively. WHEN YOU WILL WORK:
The available shift is Sunday - Wednesday, 8:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. (must be available during these times) This shift is 4 days/10 hours per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Guide daily operations to align with Avivo's mission-driven services. Work alongside the Program Manager to maintain and enhance program quality through best practices.
- Staff Supervision: Direct and support Resident Advocates across various shifts, ensuring accountability and adherence to our service standards.
- Program Development: Assist in implementing formal policies and ensure continuous innovation within program services to maximize client outcomes.
- Client and Staff Safety: Proactively manage and address client situations and ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
- Collaboration and Compliance: Foster strong intra-divisional relationships and ensure compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
- Training and Development: Lead staff training initiatives, provide regular supervision, and support the professional growth of your team.
- Community Engagement: Maintain effective partnerships with community stakeholders and represent Avivo in community meetings and events.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- Education: High school diploma required; Associate or bachelor's degree in a behavioral health field preferred.
- Experience: At least three years in direct client care and one year in a supervisory role within a behavioral health setting.
- Skills: Strong leadership abilities, adept in cultural competence, proficient in electronic health records, and excellent at crisis management.
Desirable Attributes:
- Certification in a Behavioral Health discipline (e.g., Certified Peer, Community Health Worker).
- Experience with dual diagnosis programs and in community mental health settings.

Physical and Travel Requirements:
- Ability to perform job functions with or without accommodations, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours and travel to community sites as needed. Personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursement provided.
