HR / Recruiting Specialist

Vaco has partnered with a growing Software organization located near the Phoenix/Tempe border in their search for a Human Resources/Recruiting Specialist to join their team on a contract to hire basis (3-6 months). The position will primarily handle recruiting (about 70% of the time), with the rest (30%) focused on HR dutues such asOnboarding, i9, day to day tasks, Benefits setup and payroll setup.

Please note, this position will be hybrid, with 2 days on-site per week required.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Designing and updating job descriptions
  • Crafting emails for attracting passive candidates
  • Sourcing potential candidates using various online platforms (e.g. professional forums like LinkedIn, Indeed and CareerBuilder.)
  • Screening incoming resumes as well as application forms
  • Interviewing candidates via various mediums (e.g. in-person, phone, video)
  • Preparing and distributing assignments as well as language, logical reasoning, and numerical tests
  • Advertising jobs on careers pages, job boards, and social media
  • Providing contacts of qualified applicants to the company's Hiring Managers
  • Sending job offer and recruiting emails, and also answering queries related to compensation and benefits
  • Monitoring HR metrics (e.g. source of hire, time-to-hire, and time-to-fill, etc.)
  • Hosting recruitment events and participating in job fairs
  • Collaborating with management for identifying future staffing needs
  • Providing guidance and consultancy to new recruits and also helping them onboard

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
