Protective's Executive Benefits Team helps protect futures by helping employers finance employee retirement benefits. We are a solution-oriented team with an ongoing mission to simplify processes and provide exceptional products and services.
Under direct supervision, the Executive Benefits - Cash Management Specialist performs billing and processing of payments made via lockbox, check, wire, and loans as well as payment changes and daily reconciliations. The day to day of this role involves the defined monitoring of bank accounts to ensure timely application of variable premiums.
This role will require FINRA fingerprinting. The core hours for this role are 7:30am-4pm MST plus flex time as needed.

Primary Job Functions
  • Monitors bank accounts for incoming premium payments, applies premium according to premium roster or bill, maintains premium check and wire logs.
  • Prepares templates for uploads to system for multi-life cases
  • Performs daily QC / Reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Mails /Emails monthly billings
  • Monitors ACH returns and NOC activity in SAP. Reverses payments as necessary and notify client
  • Supports the team in other activities as defined by the manager of the work area in order to assist in meeting overall team productivity goals
  • Works occasional overtime and flexes time as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Exceptional time management; self-starter
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
Work Experience, Education, Training Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of data entry experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in Banking or Finance highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel & Adobe Writer
Protective's targeted salary range for this position is $43,096 to $50,405, paid on a non-exempt hourly basis. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective's total compensation package for employees.
This position also offers additional incentive opportunities through an annual incentive based on individual and Company performance.
This role is subject to a Brokerage Holiday Schedule.
