Job Summary

Candidate will write, report and produce news stories and audio elements for the news station (KJZZ).

Essential Functions

50% - Writes, produces and develops news stories for broadcast.
25% - Edits audio using editing software and other related duties as assigned.
15% - Voices news elements, produces audio segments.
10% - Generates stories for broadcast using print, on-line and other resources.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Experience in radio reporting, producing and editing.
2. Strong attention to detail.
3. Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong writing skills.
5. Proficiency in production and writing as demonstrated by a portfolio containing the most recent stories.
6. Excellent customer service skills.
7. Ability to work independently and prioritize duties.
