Proctoring Assistant- Full Time

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

Pay Range: $14.90 - $21.58

An Associate In-House Proctor is an entry-level position within the In-House Proctoring area serving as a main point of student contact within the university for the In-House Proctoring administration of computer scored assessments. An Associate In-House Proctor has the essential responsibility to communicate with students, schedule exams and proctor to create a successful experience for the student in which to take his/her exam. Associate In-House Proctors must be available to proctor for the assigned shift as work plans and schedules are pre-defined as agreed upon during hiring.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with students within 24 business hours via email and/or phone regarding scheduled exam
  • Schedule exam using multiple platforms
  • Support the launch process of objective assessments.
  • Proctor exam for students creating a successful testing experience for the student
  • Conduct and manage proper documentation procedures as defined by the department.
  • Take initiative and act independently in completing assignments that are assigned with general direction from a manager, supervisor, and/or lead, being self-managed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • No more than 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Requires basic knowledge of processes and procedures.

Department Specific Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum earned High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends need. 5 day work week with 3 evenings per week, full day Saturday and Sunday.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or some college experience preferred
  • Computer troubleshooting experience/exposure preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
