Job Description

The Office of Gift Planning within the Development team at MSK works with donors and prospects who are interested in making gifts through their estate and long-term planning. These gifts support MSK's mission to end cancer for life.

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team as we embark on the public phase of MSK's Campaign: Leading Science, Changing Lives. Launched in the Spring of 2024, the campaign's goal is to raise $6 billion dollars by 2030. Under the guidance of the Associate Director of Gift Planning Engagement, the Project Manager position will assist the team in achieving this.

You Will:

  • Play a key role in managing and executing a comprehensive multi-channel Gift Planning marketing program. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop compelling content to advise and motivate donors to establish a planned gift
  • Partner with the Analytics team to create data driven strategy for mailings and emails
  • Lead all aspects of the management of invoices and financial reporting
  • Generate reports and maintain appropriate metrics to continually supervise the efficiency of the marketing program
  • Develop new marketing collateral (brochures, donor stories, and other tools) to support the work of the Development Officers
  • Build relationships with internal collaborators across the organization to create opportunities and raise visibility of Gift Planning
  • Attend webinars, trainings and networking events to stay up to date on new tax legislation and best practices in the field
  • Serve as the liaison to the Events team to assist in planning engagement events for Gift Planning donors
  • Perform other duties as assigned

You Have:

  • 4-6 years of relevant Development, Project Management and/or Gift Planning experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines with initiative, accountability and enthusiasm
  • Critical thinking and collaboration with an eagerness to learn and willingness to constantly improve
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Familiarity with Blackbaud CRM, Luminate Online and PG Calc a plus
  • Please note that this is a hybrid role with the opportunity to work onsite.

Pay Range $88,800.00-$142,200.00
