EisnerAmper is seeking a Grants Management Senior Manager that grows, develops, and leads grants management programs including but not limited to a thorough understanding of Uniform Guidance - 2 CFR 200, knowledge of and significant experience in grants management roles at a federal agency, state agency, or a consulting firm. Drives business development through opportunity identification, market & client strategy development, grant writing, proposal creation, and internal & external relationship development.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Public Administration, or elated field is required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS), Grants Professional Certification (GPC), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or other grants management certifications are preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum 10+ years of previous experience in grant management, program management, disaster management programs or similar fields is required, 15+ years is preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with federally funded grants management and reporting, including IIJA, EPA, and Broadband and the related statutes, regulations, policies, and processes.
  • 5+ years of consulting and/or client support and Business Development.
  • 5+ years in a management or supervisor role.
  • A strong policy background including a comprehensive understanding of the Uniform Guidance, Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Section 200, and post-award grant management activities and compliance requirements.
  • Successful experience with grant writing, preferably with federal, state, and local governments, tribal and/or territorial agencies.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills required. Ability to support/perform grants management related thought leadership/knowledge management actions - attending/organizing conferences/workshops/webinars/abstracts/writing white papers and articles.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, research, time management, critical thinking, problem-solving, and oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to provide technical assistance related to the federal procurement process.
  • Ability to identify and research potential funding opportunities and interpret and understand grant application guidelines and requirements.
  • Subject matter expert of the full grant lifecycle from pre-award, post-award through post-closeout on federally funded programs.
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, innovative, and continuously changing environment.
  • Ability to perform effectively, efficiently and with quality under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Possess a high degree of professionalism including the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capacity for quickly understanding new concepts, workflows, and systems.
  • Must be technically proficient with the capability of performing at an intermediate or advanced level with respect to the Microsoft Office Suite of products, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.


Responsibilities:



  • Leading the design and implementation of grant projects, including strategic planning, financial management, compliance and monitoring, data analytics, and closeout (post closeout).
  • Drives revenue through new and incremental growth of current and prospective clients.
  • Negotiates, prepares, and processes documents such as agreements, contracts, and requests for proposals/qualifications to support program operations.
  • Manages the team through all phases of a program including strategic planning, work planning, mobilization, execution, and completion, consistent with established program delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget, and other contract requirements.
  • Leads business development activities including identification of opportunities and client engagements.
  • Leads proposal writing teams including writing and coordinating submissions.
  • Provides leadership, direction, coaching, and development for personnel in the areas of performance management, problem resolution, planning, and assignment of work.
  • Supporting clients with technical assistance and training on grant management topics.
  • Participates in executive, management, and company staff meetings, and attends other meetings and seminars.
  • Delivers knowledge on national trends and industry best practices.
  • Ensures engagements and special assignments are accomplished within the approved budget and on time, along with managing team resources in an efficient and effective manner to meet productivity and realization goals, along with scheduling internal and external activities.
  • Ensures appropriate internal controls are in place to maintain compliance with external regulations and internal policies.
  • Support the Firm's strategic alliances and partnership, along with firm leaders, to sustain and grow client programs & services.
  • Coordinates relevant relationships with clients, and federal, state, & local agencies.
  • Analyzes trends & metrics, evaluates results of initiatives, and makes recommendations for continual improvements in efficiencies and quality.
  • Oversees department staffing needs and participate as appropriate in recruiting activities (e.g., interviewing, hiring, new hire and ongoing training, annual evaluations, etc.).
  • Participates in budget development and monitoring of expenses.
  • Ensures service line employees are properly and accurately billing for time, reviews non-billable, billable and utilization reports. Makes and communicates work hours or project adjustments as necessary.
  • Generates necessary reports for the executive team, reviews subordinates' reports
  • Proactively communicates any issues/concerns relating to service line.

Other Duties:



  • Provides courteous and prompt service to all internal and external parties. Prioritizes and addresses requests and assignments in a professional and cooperative manner.
  • Identifies opportunities and recommends methods to improve service, and work processes. Assists in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
  • May assist co-workers in the completion of tasks and assignments to ensure continuity of service and demonstrating team work skills. Actively supports teamwork throughout the organization.
  • Perform other services as assigned.


Other Considerations:



  • May periodically travel and work from different company locations.
  • May be required to work overtime, and/or on weekends as needed.
  • Must arrive at EisnerAmper offices or client locations in a timely manner and be ready to perform job responsibilities.
