Our group of DevOps professionals is looking for a C++ Software Engineer with a specialized focus on practicing DevOps. In this role you'll be an essential part of the team, contributing to the development and maintenance of C++ applications. You'll also be responsible for the creation and maintenance of optimized CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery. Your role includes timely troubleshooting and resolution of software, infrastructure, and deployment-related issues. Required Qualifications:

BS computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field
• 5 years' experience practicing Software Engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
• Proven Experience in C++ software development, demonstrating expertise in high-performance, scalable applications
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab CI), containerization technology (Docker, Podman)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash) for automation and task execution
• Solid understanding of version control systems (Git), and understanding of GitOps
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex system issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal & written, for seamless collaboration with various teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of C++ applications
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible
• Knowledge of security best practices and contribution to the implementation of secure systems
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
