Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Dispatcher for ourTransportation team. You will become an integral part of our transportation team, where your organizational prowess and dedication to safety will drive our operations forward.

This detail oriented, proactive individual will be responsible for scheduling drivers and equipment for inbound and outbound orders, printing drivers work orders, maintaining database logs to track movement of waste, orchestrating vehicle maintenance schedules, and collaborating closely with our Customer Service Department to ensure seamless communication between clients and our Transportation Department.

This position reports to the Logistics Supervisor. This role is onsite and is based in New Braunfels, TX. The pay range for this position is $22 - $30 per hour.

Essential responsibilities:

• Prepare drivers schedules while maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory practices including but not limited to: OSHA, DOT, RCRA
• Print work orders, and other driver instructions
• Schedule and keep record of all vehicle maintenance
• Work with Customer Service Department to ensure all applicable information is correctly relayed to transportation department
• Reconcile work orders in operational software
• Perform necessary record keeping activities including but not limited to hazardous and non-hazardous waste manifests, bill of ladings, vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, log books, and DVIR's
• Other related duties as assigned by Logistics Supervisor

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the transportation industry
• Working knowledge of multiple types of vehicles
• Knowledge of hazmat, RCRA, and DOT regulations
• Must understand logistics for moving multiple units and to track, record, and archive movements

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with customers, suppliers, supervisors, drivers, employees and the general public
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Must be able to list 50-75 pounds
  
  
  
  

Preferred Requirements

• Environmental related work experience
• Working proficiency in QuickBooks and WasteLinq
