Pay

$33.46-$40.86 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Plus $2.00 / hr shift premium for 3rd shift hours

Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking an Electronic Technician to join our Electrical Department team. An electronics technician installs and maintains electronic/electrical production equipment.

Required Qualifications

  • Documentation verifying the successful completion of an approved program of electrical, electronic and/or robotics schooling specializing in industrial motor controls with PC/PLC's and closed loop control systems or 4 years work experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairingelectrical/electronicsystems using PC/PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, various types of motors, controllers, PECs, counters, timers, relays, etc. to control production equipment
  • Exercises personal safety on the job and demonstrates a commitment to the safety of others and our products
  • Possess above average mechanical, electrical and electronic aptitude
  • Be self-directed, self-motivated, industrious, creative, and have the desire to help others excel
  • Ability to read electrical prints, ladder diagrams, and electronic schematics
  • Willing and able to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrates good perception, judgment, and decision making skills
  • Must be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Practices good personal hygiene and keeps a clean work area
  • PC literate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Documentation verifying two (2) years, as a full time student, of electrical, electronic and/or robotics schooling specializing in industrial motor controls with PC/PLC's and closed loop control systems and (4) year of experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairingelectrical/electronicsystems on PC/PLC controlled production equipment
