Primary Responsibilities:

*Oversee the day-to-day operational functions for the Leidos deferred compensation plans, including answering participant questions about benefits and eligibility, drafting communications and processing plan transactions. This includes plan and participant transaction audits, creating the annual key employee list and ensuring the plans meet all IRS 409A regulations.

*Research and resolve all day-to-day problems in relation to plan operations and identify/escalate all issues of concern to appropriate manager/department.

*Act as point of contact for the company's non-qualified deferred compensation third party administrators and outside consultants, brokers, trustees and financial providers as necessary.

*Responsible for coordinating materials for quarterly and special meetings of the Non-qualified Deferred Compensation Plan Committee and ensuring committee member and senior leadership are kept informed about plan changes.

*Process monthly distributions from the deferred compensation plans including providing instructions to trustees, processing and finalizing payouts and coordinating with vendors, accounting, tax, payroll and accounts payroll for proper reporting of transactions..

*Manage the annual enrollment process which includes determining the eligibility census, working with plan administrator on participant communications, enrollment webinar presentations and one on one employee meetings.

*Oversee the quarterly purchase of the Employee Stock Purchase Plan(ESPP). This includes communication delivery, coordination of payroll contribution files, building of purchase file and working with ESPP plan administrator to ensure purchase is completed accurately and timely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required, additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in Compensation or a related field.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Thorough knowledge of compensation philosophies and practices
  • Extensive experience with incentive plan design and implementation
  • Knowledge of Workday HCM preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret and summarize key areas.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Expert knowledge of office software, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Adapts and works effectively with a variety of situations, individuals or groups.
  • Industry experience is a plus.

Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
