Power BI Reports Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Reports Developer with expertise in SharePoint integration to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing interactive and visually compelling reports using Power BI and integrating them seamlessly with SharePoint for enhanced collaboration and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and insights.
  • Design and implement data models to support reporting requirements, including data cleansing, transformation, and modeling.
  • Integrate Power BI reports with SharePoint to facilitate easy access, sharing, and collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand data needs, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Optimize report performance and usability through effective design, layout, and interactive features.
  • Implement security and access controls to ensure data privacy and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to manage data connections, refresh schedules, and troubleshooting of technical issues.
  • Stay updated on the latest Power BI and SharePoint features, best practices, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX expressions, and report design.
  • Experience with SharePoint integration, including embedding Power BI reports into SharePoint pages.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries and database concepts for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or similar are a plus.
