The Warehouse Associate hourly rate starts at $19.00 (more depending upon experience.) Schedule is 6:00 PM to 06:30 AM on a 2 - 2 - 3 rotation.

• Prior experience operating a stand up forklift/truck in a fast paced environment.
• Assigned by the supervisor to pull orders of packaging, raw materials, and ingredients as per production schedule and place palletized items in designated areas.
• Assigned by supervisor to pull orders of finished goodsas per load out sheets and load on to trailer in sequential order as per load out sheet.
• Verify product codes dates both visually and on the inventory sheets to ensure proper rotation of products.
• Physically check all products in staging areas for proper code dates, labels, short fills, missing cartons, and leakers. Make necessary adjustments to loads as required.
• Able to transport and put away pallets.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned warehouse area.
• Must be able to work in cold storage warehouse environment.
• Ensure all safe quality food programs / policies are being upheld and documentation of such is current.

Requirements

• Prefer 3 or months of food manufacturing warehouse experience.
• Previous experience / certification stand up lifttruck. Must be able to possess and maintain a valid forklift license issued by the company.
• Previous experience with RFIs and SAP, preferred.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple correspondence, instructions, and memos.
• Ability to present information to other employees.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Constant exposure to moving mechancial parts.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, and stretch / reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The emploee is occasionally required to climb or balance and smell. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds, and occassionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Close vision and full range of body motion is required.
