Administration & Finance is seeking to hire an experienced (1) College/Division HR Coordinator who collaborates in different areas of the college.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced College/Division HR Coordinator who will coordinate staff and undergraduate student hires for an assigned portfolio of departments for the College of Arts and Sciences. This position will collaborate with teams across the college and in the departments to ensure all MSS transactions and documentation are submitted to university human resources in a timely manner and that all policies and procedures are followed.

The essential duties and responsibilities of the HR Coordinator are the following:



  • Will coordinate with the department liaison to guide search committees on how to follow the process of posting positions.
  • Initiates the MSS transaction for all staff, temps, fee-based, and student hires.
  • Process adjustments for time and absence requests for staff and students.
  • Initiates the online clearance forms for faculty, staff, and students.
  • Ensures all documentation is completed and submitted promptly to central HR for further processing and approval.
  • Provides daily incident reports of challenges that may pose barriers to the timely processing of payments and hires.
  • Will cross-train across the unit to serve as a backup when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
