Description WORK STYLE DESIGNATION: Onsite WORK STYLE REQUIREMENT: Onsite WORK LOCATION: Chatworth, CA (LAC) Office EXPECTED PAY RANGE: $19.68 - $27.07 per hour This pay range is for the position's base salary only. This position may be eligible for other compensation including incentive pay and/or allowances. Candidates will receive additional information during the interview and selection process.
- Perform precise assembly of silicon chip detector-based sub-assemblies, carefully bonding delicate components and tiny electronic elements to ensure optimal functionality. Skillfully apply adhesives to securely bond intricate elements within the detector assemblies, ensuring their stability and reliability. {E}
- Employ highly precise soldering techniques to attach various elements, including thin wires and tiny electronic components, to the detector sub-assemblies. {E}
- Utilized advanced wire bonding techniques to establish secure electrical connections between components within the detectors. {E}
- Ensure adherence to production schedule and quality standards. Implement rigorous quality control measures during the fabrication process to maintain high standards of performance and reliability in the detectors. {E}
- Conduct testing of assembled detectors to verify electrical properties. Interpret test data accurately. {E}
- Maintain accurate records of assembly process, test results and any issues encountered during production, inventory levels on system. Prepare documentation and continuous improvement purposes. {E}
- Adhere to clean room protocols and electrostatic discharge standards protocols. {E}
- Perform rework, reassembly, failure analysis, and projects as required per instructions. {E}
- Adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements of the job function. {E}
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow established quality system procedures. {E}
EDUCATION, LICENSES, AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school. Additional certifications or vocational training in advanced soldering or wire bonding are advantageous.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of soldering or wire bonding desired.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability of working under microscope
- Basic computer skills and demonstrated ability to learn new systems and understand new technologies.
- Proficiency in wire bonding techniques, and precision assembly of delicate components.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
