The Direct Sales Director develops leads and ensures a smooth sales process with a focus on all service offerings. You will also cross sell, up sell, close sales, meet targeted goals and provide leadership in continuous improvement activities for sales processes. This is an employer direct channel sales position and the candidate who takes on this role will gain solid experience selling directly to HR and/or C-level professionals in a variety of companies/industries.

You will earn a base salary plus commission and annual renewals.

The Direct Sales Director provides exemplary sales efforts to potential prospects through:

  • Performing outbound sales phone calls to current and potential clients
  • Educating potential clients regarding the benefits and requirements of our products
  • Manage qualified leads distributed by Sales Operations team
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations via phone and MS Teams
  • Use Salesforce database for leads and won/loss tracking needs

The qualified candidate will possess:

  • Experience working in the Payroll Services or Employee Benefits industries.
  • Ability to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Proven ability to close a sale
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in making professional sales calls
  • Demonstrated ability to use CRM software for lead management

Required qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working in professional environment.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years sales experience.
  • Experience working in payroll services or the employee benefits industry.
  • Education and/or experience equivalent to minimum of an associate's degree from an accredited college or university
