Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, the Senior Director of Marketing assumes a pivotal role, entrusted with shaping strategy, instilling structure, and fostering accountability across all marketing endeavors. This key position entails meticulously planning, orchestrating, and spearheading the implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies to propel organizational growth, seamlessly bridging innovative ideation with tangible business outcomes.

Location: Remote

Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000

Bonus: 18% annual bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary market-facing subject matter expert (SME) for the organization, ensuring a deep understanding of industry trends and client needs.
  • Lead and manage a team of marketing associates, guiding them in supporting internal stakeholders, external communications, and project-based marketing initiatives.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and service demonstrations as necessary to support client, prospect, and partner meetings.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the services audience, gathering insights into client needs and sales processes to inform marketing strategies and service development.
  • Implement data-driven acquisition and upsell campaigns to drive maximum client adoption.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop content that shapes technical product strategy, execution, and delivery.
  • Create services-focused collateral, including presentations, data sheets, white papers, and internal sales tools, to bolster sales efforts and overall organizational demand.
  • Conduct thorough competitive analyses to inform positioning, market segmentation, and service/support strategies.
  • Champion an audience-centric marketing approach within the organization, ensuring that messaging and campaign strategies align closely with client/customer needs.
  • Oversee market segmentation and targeting efforts to identify service opportunities, partnering with sales and operations to build compelling business cases for expanding market presence or entering new markets.
  • Provide strategic input into the development of marketing efforts leveraging emerging technologies and market anomalies.
  • Collaborate closely with field leaders on campaigns and ad hoc projects, offering support and guidance as needed.
  • Lead data-driven marketing activities, with a focus on metrics, lead development, and CRM (Salesforce) relationship management.
  • Enhance brand awareness and reach across various platforms, optimizing online presence including directory accuracy and third-party reviews.
  • Interface with and manage third-party agencies for creative and strategic projects as required.
  • Ensure the timely and exceptional execution of integrated marketing programs.
  • Act as a central liaison with key stakeholders, proactively developing and communicating campaign overviews, timelines, status updates, and metrics to align with company strategic objectives and sales goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
  • 7-10+ years of progressive experience in marketing leadership and long-range planning is essential.
  • Previous success in navigating both startup and corporate environments is preferred
  • Demonstrates initiative, passion, and enthusiasm for leading cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Proven ability to cultivate productive relationships across services management, demand marketing, operations, sales, and technology.
  • Possesses strong business acumen, with a demonstrated ability in strategic and tactical planning and implementation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience presenting to clients and industry groups.
  • Familiarity with large and complex organizational structures.
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts and technologies into compelling business-oriented value propositions.
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship management abilities.
  • Proficient in conducting market, competitor, and consumer research to gather insights and identify market opportunities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the adaptability to navigate diverse cultures within both corporate and field environments.
  • Comfortable engaging with Executive and C-suite levels.
  • Skilled in crafting value propositions and messaging strategies.
  • Capable of devising strategies for generating new offerings pipeline, as well as upsell, cross-sell, and account-based marketing programs to enhance existing relationships.
  • Proficient in analyzing data from win/loss interviews and pipeline behavior to identify marketing and sales process inefficiencies.
  • Ability to align product launches with organizational campaign themes and objectives.
  • A critical thinker with excellent writing, communication, quantitative, and presentation development and delivery skills.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in presentation platforms, with outstanding PowerPoint skills.
  • Familiarity with analytical and marketing tools, with the ability to interpret their findings.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

The final compensation offered will be determined based on various factors, including the candidate's location, level of experience, and skill set. As such, it may fall outside the range listed above.
