Quality Manufacturing Engineer

What You Will Do:



  • Develop and implement Work Instructions and SOPs with quality designed for all manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with travelers and quality standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Work closely with production team to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Assist production in the resolution of manufacturing problems to maintain production schedules.
  • Train production team on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Manage well established AS9100 quality system.
  • Support and supervision of inspection personnel including documentation retention, First Article Inspection, issuing Certificates of Compliance.
  • Resolution and disposition of incoming and internal non-conforming material.
  • Participates in and sustains 5S Standards.
  • Drives Continuous Improvement projects/tasks.
  • Demonstrate ability to understand supplier capability and specialties in the manufacture of components and tooling to required specifications.
  • Provide technical assistance to component and tooling suppliers.


What You Will Bring:



  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/quality engineering role preferably in a machine shop environment.
  • Must be proficient in English reading and writing.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
