The Meeting Event Housing Specialist acts as a team lead managing all aspects of event housing with Concessions Coordinator, Group Coordinator and Audit Coordinator. Consults with clients to create business rules and best practices that work best for that group and builds a web-site based on those rules. Works with hotels to quality check and manage contracted, reserved, and occupied rooms. Acts as expert on specific program issues related to inventory and housing billing. Monitors and manages timeline due dates, room block pick-up, attrition, concessions and billing details.
Scope Manages the housing component of approximately 5-8 programs annually, with room nights counts as high as 100,000 on an annual basis. Responsible for managing room block, attrition, concessions and cancellation policies on programs with complex room requirements. Manages projects which include room block management for up to 90 hotels. Responsibilities
