Arconic is currently in search of Financial Analyst to join our BCS Team in Springdale, Arkansas. The Financial Analyst needs to demonstrate the following capabilities: Analytical mindset Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (It is imperative for this position) Forecasting Financial Modeling Budget Preparation Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis Variance Reporting Capex The Financial Analyst provides support in the following areas: Ad-hoc cost analysis Monitoring and improving accuracy of daily reporting Supporting month-end close Supporting monthly forecast process Day to day responsibilities include: Creating daily reports showing key performance indicators Reporting daily P&L Maintaining scrap database Creating scrap invoices Monitoring cost for significant variances Recording intercompany freight charges Maintaining capital expense database The position is also back-up for accounts payable and payroll Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics is preferred 1-3 Years' experience in similar role, but entry level with high ceiling considered Strong analytical and data gathering abilities Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow Strong written and oral communication skills Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
