Are you a skilled Quality Specialist looking for a hands-on opportunity in the heart of Virginia's tobacco country? We have an exciting position currently open for a Quality Specialist in Danville!

What This Position Is About:

You will be responsible for orchestrating the QC Lab's activities and ensuring compliance with state regulations and company standards. You will drive efficiency by optimizing material resources, champion the 5S3R program, and maintain high morale and performance among Quality Operators. You will assist in NPD initiatives, manage QMS, and support ISO9001 certification. You will act as a liaison between Factory Approvers and production, fostering transparent communication and sharing JTI expertise to elevate the local team.

Who Are We Looking For - Requirements:




  • University degree in Chemistry or similar
  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience respectively and/or Work experience in the position of a specialist in the field of quality, standardization, and certification or in a similar position for at least 2 (two) years, preferably in an international organization
  • Fluency in English (Oral and written)
  • Intermediate PC skills (MS Office applications), Internal Regulations, and Safety policies of the company, Laboratory skills and Statistical principles
  • Methods of personnel management and motivation
