Title: Program Coordinator - Michigan Immunization Coalition $61,526.40 - $91,832 / Posted Thru: 4-28-24 Location: Remote/Virtual Purpose: The Program Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of re-launching Michigan's statewide immunization coalition, currently known as the (AIM). Management of coalition outreach and engagement (e.g., coalition committees, board of directors, and educational outreach) is a key function of this role. The Program Coordinator will identify and sustain statewide partnerships and facilitate collaborative program planning. In partnership with the coalition board of directors, the Program Coordinator will create new committees to support the mission and vision of Michigan's relaunched statewide, lifespan coalition. The Program Coordinator will schedule and manage committee meetings and projects. Furthermore, the Coordinator will assist with fund development and grant management, and the development of the coalition as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Program Coordinator is charged with implementing evidence-based immunization interventions to inform, educate, and motivate health care providers and the public throughout Michigan. Coalition initiatives must align with the coalition's strategic plan and funding requirements. Some travel required. Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications/Requirements: Education: A bachelor's degree in public health or a health-related field; master's degree preferred. Experience: A minimum of three years' experience in one or more of the following: Public Health Practice, Nonprofit Management, Health Education, Nursing, Program Administration, or another health-related field. Experience with program planning, program evaluation, public speaking, event planning, group facilitation for small and large audiences, grant writing, grant management, and fundraising. Work Environment and Physical Requirements: This position will work remotely. Selected candidates must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview. Requires some statewide travel and occasional out-of-state travel. Flexible work schedule. RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE WORK OF OTHERS: No assigned responsibility. IMPACT ON PROJECTS, SERVICES AND OPERATIONS: This position has a direct impact on the quality of services provided by MPHI to MDHHS.
