Job Description

Position Summary:

This is a high profile, global role, with direct IT support responsibilities to the Rockwell Automation CEO and staff. You will possess a high degree of confidentiality, excellent customer service skills and knowledge of a modern Microsoft IT environment. You will be flexible in working hours with the ability to occasionally support the executives remotely during off-hours.

This position is located onsite daily in the Milwaukee, WI HQ office.

You will report to a Technical Leader for our Command Center.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide IT end-user white glove support for top level executives.
  • Primary contact for all IT issues and requests involving Rockwell Automation executives.
  • Work with IT teams and vendors for problem resolution. Requests could include:
  • PC, iPad, mobile phone, printer and other computer hardware issues / setups.
  • Shared calendar and mail issues / setups.
  • Cultivate the relationship between IT and the executives, representing the executive's needs during the planning of any IT project implementations (i.e. browser upgrades, new PC rollouts, new application deployments, etc.).
  • Notify and train executives and executive admins on new technologies, changes and upgrades/enhancements of current software or hardware.
  • Set-up, support and monitor meetings of the Board of Directors and departmental meetings.
  • Oversight and management of 3rd party contractors assisting in the executive support activities.
  • Display a calm, positive demeanor with the ability to resolve an issue or fulfill a request with discretion.
  • Explain complicated IT issues to non-technical end users.
  • Occasionally travel to support offsite meetings.
  • When not providing executive support, you may work in the Mequon, WI location supporting the Rockwell Automation IT Zone and assisting end-users and IT teams.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Ability to travel up to 10-15% as needed.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Typically requires 5+ years of relevant work experience within IT
  • Working knowledge of the following software:
  • Windows 10
  • O365 environment including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, Teams Live, and SharePoint
  • Mac OSX
  • iOS
  • Active Directory User Administration
  • Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Safari
  • Working knowledge of the following hardware
  • Mobility devices (iPhone, iPad, Android phones & tablets)
  • Lenovo & Dell laptops
  • Macbook Air/Pro
  • Multifunction printers
  • AV equipment and video conferencing (Cisco, for example)
  • General networking knowledge - TCP/IP, VPN, Certificate-based and home wireless, etc.
  • Previous experience supporting end-users in person and remotely.
  • Experience thriving in high-stress situations or working through unknown technology issues.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or another ITSM ticketing/knowledge management tool.
  • Microsoft O365 certifications.
  • Apple/Mac certifications.
