Senior Implementation Manager - Financial Protection - National Remote

This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Lead and manage implementation process for new and in-force customers with a focus on supporting our National Account, larger Key Account and Leave Management business segments
  • Drive and develop a customized implementation plan for each account; initiate and lead projects to identify and resolve implementation transition issues specific to each client
  • Serve as point person, both internally and externally, to ensure efficiency and consistency throughout our implementations
  • Communicate customer's expectations to business partners via meetings or individual communication. Owns initiation of meeting and leads discussions. Engages in clear, effective communication to establish responsibilities and internal due dates for all business partners on each implementation. Leads ongoing meetings with client to review progress and risks and owns coordination of issue resolution
  • Partner with Implementation leadership to drive operational efficiencies to drive results
  • Analyze work processes to develop and recommend workflow improvements
  • Perform meeting preparation activities and present information to customers for finalist meetings and implementation presentations
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and coaching of new team members

Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 3+ years of experience in Healthcare / Insurance Industry
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer facing role
  • 2+ years of professional experience working in an implementation role
  • Experience within Financial Protection team
  • Experience with computer and Windows PC including Microsoft Excel (i.e. creating spreadsheets, v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Ability to work our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of experience with Life, Disability, Supplemental Health (Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness, or Accident), and leave management


Telecommuting Requirements:



  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington or Rhode Island Residents Only: The hourly range for California / Colorado / Connecticut / Hawaii / Nevada / New York / New Jersey / Washington / Rhode Island residents is $33.75 - $66.25 per hour.
