Business Development Intern

Hybrid from Reston, VA

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Space Initiatives Team here at SES Space & Defense where we are driven by our passion to deliver best-in-class satellite network solutions, products, and services!

Based in our Reston, VA office, you will support our Business Development team with a number of tasks to include research and analysis on emerging military space requirements and capabilities. You should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, energetic team and ready to exhibit your analysis and presentation skills!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand the current business opportunities within Air & Space
• Research and analyze new satellite technologies and space-based sensors and services
• Collaborating with team members to assess potential opportunities, through 2030
• Present findings in a structured, informative manner
• Assist with the set-up and coordination of business development meetings

YOUR PROFILE

Must Haves

• Currently progressing towards a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Aerospace, or related field
• Must have completed at least 2 years of coursework
• Skilled in standard computer applications such as Outlook, and MS Office Suite
• High enthusiasm for space
• Able to work in United States
• Fluency in spoken and written English

Nice to Haves

• Prior intern experience in market analysis/trends
• Negotiation & persuasion skills
