LMI is seeking an entry level SharePoint Developer located near Dayton, OH.



Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with deveoping SharePoint sites, assuring critical elements such as pages, libraries and/or lists are in place for file management, and helping identify and implement automation opportunities.

    Work with the team to build and configure SharePoint sites
  • Define and implement optimal SharePoint site settings, folder structures, roles, and security.
  • Provide SharePoint expertise to the team when engaging with client SharePoint administrators.
  • Be a proactive, solution-oriented self-starter with the ability to quickly assemble the big picture.
  • Actively participate in agile software development activities, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.


Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Willingness to obtain a government security clearance, if requested.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science
  • 0-2 years of experience in the software development field
  • Understanding of SharePoint and its various features, such as lists, libraries, content types, modern vs classic experiences, and permissions.
  • Experience developing custom workflows, forms, and templates using SharePoint Framework
  • Experience with Power Automate, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to gather and translate Agile user stories to technical solutions and implement those requirements.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • Experience with the ServiceNow development platform.
  • Experience with using JavaScript and jQuery Libraries to render SharePoint data.
  • Experience with Atlassian's Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with distributed development teams which span multiple geographies, time zones, and cultures.
  • Experience working in a consultant/client environment.
