Reporting to the Program Manager, the selected candidate will assume responsibility for implementing manualized evidence-based treatment protocols, encompassing individual, group, couples, and family psychotherapy at the UC San Diego Health Eating Disorder Center within the Department of Psychiatry. Key duties include case management and multi-family programming (~30%), clinical assessment and treatment, care coordination, milieu management, administrative tasks, and ethical decision-making on behalf of patients. The incumbent will serve as the primary therapist and case manager for patients with diverse presentations, predominantly within a high-acuity partial hospital and intensive outpatient setting for eating disorders and co-morbid conditions. As a case manager, responsibilities entail overseeing the clinical care of patients and their families, which includes coordinating care with other providers, obtaining ongoing treatment authorizations, and conducting therapy sessions. Continuous assessment will inform diagnosis and treatment planning, supplemented by attendance at regular training sessions, workshops, and participation in weekly treatment team meetings to report patient progress. Active involvement in program evaluation and the identification of new service needs, alongside management of the patient milieu and collaboration with team members, is expected. Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays based on operational requirements is essential. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
