As a Data Analyst Intern, you will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making by providing insights and recommendations to improve business performance, optimize processes, and identify growth opportunities. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective analytical solutions. You will also leverage data analysis tools, such as Power BI, to develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations that track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics specific to the Connected Firefighter, specifically the FireGrid software platform. MSA's Connected Firefighter platform, powered by FireGrid, distinctively links firefighting technologies like the self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and the groundbreaking search and rescue device, LUNAR. This integration enables real-time monitoring for incident command and inventory management software. The Connected Firefighter team is actively seeking to grow by adding a proficient data analyst or data engineer intern dedicated to extracting valuable insights from product data, with the aim of developing our next generation of software products and connected devices that solve unique customer problems.
