Description The Compliance Intern is responsible for assisting the Compliance Department with various tasks required to support the company's mission of providing quality services to customers. Requirements Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports Compliance department by working on projects; assists with assigned tasks across the entire department including Risk Assessment reviews,, Office of Foreign Assets Control tasks and reporting, quality control, compliance reviews, etc.
- Assists with general activities including but not limited tobusiness continuity planning and administration, high-risk customer due diligence, Bank Secrecy Act compliance tasks and reporting, vendor management support, , and any other activity required per the company's mission.
- Performs other duties as assigned which may include any task required to support the company's mission of providing quality financial services to our customers.

Technical Expertise
- Experience in accounting in financial services or banking is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required., Cleartouch, OnBase, various government and investor software/web portals is preferred.
Education and Experience
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required; working towards Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Certification: None.
- Years of experience: 0 to 2 years is required.
- Years of experience supervising: None.
Physical Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, walk, stand, sit, bend, reach with hands and arms, climb, push/pull, use hands, and see, hear and speak.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
- This position is performed in an office setting, five days a week with typical work hours being 8.30a through 5.15p.
