Description

Responsible for overseeing the process and performance of deposit accounts for the credit union. Ensures that deposit products and services, as well as the associated processes, meet the needs and expectations of the members and regulatory and compliance standards. This role supports the Director in overseeing and reporting on the member and team member experience for the new membership processes, deposit product offering and workflow, and specialty accounts. The position requires a person with excellent collaboration, communication, and partnering skills in assisting internal customers, managing internal client relationships, and maintaining efficient operational processes. The position will proactively assist leadership in strategic planning, development, implementation, and administration of policies and procedures for deposit accounts and all associated channels.

Experience
*Understanding of government regulations and legal requirements involving consumer financial management and banking requirements. (required)
*Strong operational systems knowledge used in retail banking locations, including core transaction processing, Account Origination Systems (MeridianLink experience preferred), etc. (required)
*Knowledge of financial products and services as well as account opening procedures and documentation, including Member Identification Programs, Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, etc (required)
*Experience working on enterprise level projects. Familiarity with project and process improvement frameworks (Lean, Agile) will also be helpful. (required)
5 years: *5+ years of experience in a financial institution required with 3+ years of leadership experience. (required)
*Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business or Finance or related field or related and commensurate work experience. (required)
