Butler - Sky Villas - Aria

THE JOB

As a Butler, you will be responsible for inspecting, preparing and coordinating suites for the guest. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOWmemories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

STARTING PAY RATE: $20 per hour plus tips plus commission

THE DAY-TO-DAY

• Prepare suite prior to guest arrival and coordinate room service set-up with special requirements guest may have
• Provide food and beverage service to designated suites; coordinate orders with Room Service Manager on duty to assure proper order is given and received
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure that rooms are kept in superior condition at all times
• Maintain butler pantry and equipment to be kept up to company standards
• Provide shoe polishing service and assist guest with dry-cleaning laundry items
• Escort guest as needed and assist them with making reservations for spa, restaurants, limo, etc.
• Assist with villa events such as in-villa parties

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work on-call/part-time
• Age 21+

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Has fine-dining experience
• Has worked with VIP guests in a luxury setting
• Has a vast knowledge of wine and spirits and is comfortable making recommendations
• Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
• Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
• General knowledge of mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate, both in person and over the telephone when dealing with management, employees, and guests
