About This Role: The Infrastructure Security Engineer supports the Infrastructure Security team by implementing and managing day-to-day cyber security protection and detection technologies. The position is key in enhancing security measures, optimizing costs, improving performance, and ensuring end-user satisfaction within the university's IT infrastructure. What You'll Need to Succeed: Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field.
- Solid experience in cyber security infrastructure support, focusing on the operational aspects of cyber security protection and detection technologies.
- Proficiency in applying security technologies, standards, and best practices within an operational context.
- Practical experience in collaborating with vendors and understanding contractual aspects to support security initiatives.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact with various stakeholders across the organization.
