We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to provide comprehensive care for Inpatient Thoracic Oncology to meet the medical and psychosocial needs of our patients, implement and evaluate standards of care, and participate in research necessary to establish exemplary, evidence-based care.

Location: 1275 York Avenue Manhattan NY

Hours: 13 hr shifts

Weekend and holiday rotation coverage are required

We Are:

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will join a team of over 900 NPs and PAs across MSK who are dedicated to delivering compassionate, expert and comprehensive cancer care to patients and families, supporting the mission, philosophy, standards, goals and objectives of the institution and department.

You are:

You will:

*Collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members

*Providing comprehensive care to hospitalized TOS patients

*Meeting the medical needs of TOS patients

*Work with medically complex patients in a dynamic and acute environment

Qualifications needed for a PA candidate are:

*Graduate from an accredited PA program

*NCCPA certification

*Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure

*2 years inpatient medicine or related clinical experience

Qualifications needed for an NP candidate are:

*Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations

*Master's degree in nursing

*2 years of inpatient medicine or related clinical experience

*Related National NP certification

Pay Range $144,000-182,000K
