Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

About the Position

The Director of HR Technology Operations partners closely with HR to design and analyze business processes, recommend and deploy new HR IT solutions, manage HR data within various systems, resolve system issues, and lead enterprise change management efforts. The Director of HR Technology Operations must have a strong service orientation, sound project management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects/initiatives concurrently. Strong interpersonal relationship skills are necessary for working successfully with other groups across the organization. You will collaborate with members of our HR Services team, HR Business Partners, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, IT departments, and other stakeholders to deliver system solutions that will help our organization become more efficient and effective.

We Require

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, business administration, project management, or a related field.
  • Six years of experience managing IT projects or IT systems analysis, design, or programming to include two years of supervisory experience.
  • An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis.

Job Contributions

  • Plan and direct the organization's ongoing HR systems administration to support short and long-range HR goals in a dynamic environment
  • Provide leadership over the HRIS team in support of daily HRIS business operations and projects
  • With the support of the HR team, develop and manage project scopes, costs, schedules, internal staffing, and communication/change management plans
  • Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts from other offices/departments and operational teams to address and provide solutions to business needs
  • Act as an advisor and partner to HR leaders to understand their operational issues and opportunities and create automated solutions to scale business operations and ensure compliance
  • Partner with colleagues in HR, IT, and other enterprise teams and cross-functional stakeholders to define business requirements and translate business needs into multi-year and tactical system implementation plans, including project prioritization, scheduling, and resource planning
  • Partner with consultants who are hired to supplement IT project activities
  • Manage enterprise HR data with a focus on data quality and driving improvements to provide efficient, effective, and compliant HR systems
  • Own data quality and ongoing data improvements to deliver accurate and reliable workforce data with corresponding workforce reporting and analytics
  • Manage data integrity in systems by developing audit processes to analyze and identify data issues

  • Hybrid telework and alternate work schedules available after the initial training period
  • Work is performed in an office environment
