Manage all aspects of engineered wood products (EWP) manufacturing. Provide leadership to supervisors and employees engaged in all aspects of EWP production. Must promote and foster an environment of employee empowerment and team participation. Responsibilities include employee safety, training and development of salaried and hourly employees, development and management of budgets and operating plans, supervision, production and product quality, administering policies and procedures and demonstrating a commitment to total quality principles and tools. Responsible for implementing the Company's policies, procedures, and management actions to ensure compliance with the most current Sustainable Forestry Initiative Standard (SFIS), third party certification, on-product label application, and Chain-of-Custody system certification requirements, where applicable. Responsible for the communication of the Company's SFI commitment and promotion of the practice of sustainable forestry to employees, wood producers, and suppliers.
