PRIMARY PURPOSE: This role is designed to shape the employee technology experience across assigned MGM Resorts assigned properties. The Property Technology Operations leader will develop and execute a support strategy for technologies at certain property locations. This includes understanding services, infrastructure and applications delivered by Technology, Digital and Data (TDD) and the business.
- Engage, give direction and inspire a team comprised of employees, contractors, and third parties that are accountable for all levels of end user support.
- Manage property IT support staff and vendor services to deliver excellent experiences for the employees and convention guests.
- Engage with key stakeholders such as the Property Presidents and other executives at the property to understand their IT needs and priorities, and ensure alignment with TDD strategies.
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations at the designated properties, including end user computer support, troubleshooting and replacing network devices, investigating user access issues, and ensuring the smooth user experience.
- Drive consolidation to common TDD toolsets and processes, and work to deliver these solutions to excellence.
- Ensure compliance with company information security and compliance policies and procedures, and promptly address or report any deviations.
- Drive IT organizational adoption for considering the user experience in all of its services, taking an end-to-end perspective.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Extensive technical knowledge and experience in most aspects of IT infrastructure and technology as it relates to the end user, preferably including mastery of at least one relevant technology.
- Demonstrate an ability to lead, manage, coach and guide senior level managers - providing directional leadership, management, guidance and coaching across geographies.
- Relationship management skills - ability to build and create a compelling experiences across levels and disciplines, and sensitively work with stakeholders
- Independent judgment and decision-making.
- Ability to depict information conceptually and logically.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Facilitation experience for conducting requirements gathering and stakeholder agreement meetings.
