Old National Bank is currently seeking a Contract & Sourcing Strategist located in Evansville, IN. As part of the Procurement Services organization within Finance, this role is responsible for partnering with our internal client line of business owners and Executives to source new solutions and service providers and manage the associated contract lifecycles.

This position works strategically with managers and senior managers to support strategic sourcing, contract research and negotiations, as well as act as an internal business consultant and trusted advisor.

Essential Responsibilities:

    Achieve targeted outcomes associated with business efficiencies, cost reduction/revenue improvement, and product/service provider optimization, through opportunity identification, successful negotiations, and advantageous contracting, while complying with the highest ethical standards and preventing conflicts of interest and improper vendor/supplier relationships.
  • Support all pre-sourcing fulfillment (IT evaluations, product development, funding review/approval, etc.), as well as own full strategic sourcing process through contracting for any assigned initiatives and all vendor/supplier agreements.
  • Independently conduct financial and other empirical analysis associated with sourcing and contracting events, and partner with a Financial Analyst for those comparisons of greater complexity.
  • Comfortably and successfully interact with, influence, and support key business leaders including, CEO, CFO, CIO, CRO, etc., to advocate strategic business needs.
  • Negotiate and enforce new agreements and modifications to existing contracts (MSA's, NDA's, SOW's, etc.) including terms and conditions, performance obligations, regulatory compliance, etc., with vendors.
  • Support real estate and equipment lease contract negotiation and lifecycle management, and support relevant duties associated with Facilities Management needs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with and consult the relevant stakeholders including, lines of business, Finance, Risk, Legal, etc. to achieve positive results, while complying with company policies, standards, and applicable laws.
  • Manage efforts in accordance with the Procurement Policy and ensure compliance with associated purchasing and funding approval processes, and expense management practices and controls.
  • Work with internal business owners and stakeholders to incorporate Supplier Diversity into sourcing and contracting activities.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years of relevant experience ie: procurement, contract management, sourcing, third party risk management, etc.
  • Strong communication, consultative, and interpersonal skills. Must act as a trusted advisor to executives and managers (internal clients) at all levels within the organization.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to successfully influence key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Excellent problem-solving/solution architect and critical thinking skills, and strong business acumen fostering sound process, and strategy decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects and activities effectively in a dynamic environment.
