Graphics and Video Designer

The Opportunity:

As a communications professional, you know how to inform and engage key audiences and help promote an organization's desired reputation. We're looking for an experienced communications specialist like you, who is ready to grow and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day. Here, you'll advance your consulting skills to design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that support electronic health records.

As a communications specialist on our team, you'll closely impact the development of creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to develop and contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

As a collaborator on all aspects of oral and written communications, you'll develop graphics for project and program leadership, including infographics, illustrations, posters, banners, templates, fact sheets, newsletters, icons, and videos utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite. Your creative-thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your client to inform key audiences through words, images, and sound.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in graphics or videography
  • Experience with using advanced desktop publishing, page layout, or typesetting software
  • Experience with providing graphical user interface design
  • Experience with providing computer-based graphic art utilizing a variety of commercial-off-the-shelf software applications
  • Ability to maintain basic skills in Web development programming tools, including HTML
  • Ability to conduct studies, testing, and evaluations of screen prototypes for functionality, ease of use, efficiency, and accuracy
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with editing and creating original artwork and documents, including certificates, publications, posters, or meeting and conference handouts
  • Experience with supporting the federal government
  • Experience with implementing electronic health records
  • Ability to design and develop high-quality textual and graphic compositions to communicate complex technical information

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
