Reports to (job title): SVP Chief Human Resources Officer

I. Position Description Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Develop, implement and manage the overall strategic direction of the Talent Acquisition (TA) Center of Excellence ("COE"), to include EEO Diversity Compliance and Outreach. Drive the achievement of recruiting goals. Oversee Employment Branding initiatives as it pertains to recruiting talent. Understand and translate business priorities into HR strategic and operational solutions. Enhance Talent Acquisition processes and procedures to acquire the best talent in the market while maintaining compliance and equity. Oversee the implementation and analysis of key reporting metrics and the utilization of TA systems and platforms. Analyze data to determine and interpret the return on investment of all initiatives, opportunities for enhancements and overall status of TA activities. Collaborate with the HR Leadership Team to develop HR policies and innovative approaches to optimize capabilities, improve performance, resolve complex issues and maintain quality standards. Lead the administration of the departmental philosophy, goals and objectives. Build effective teams by motivating leaders and staff to achieve high levels of performance, meet goals and contribute to the overall growth of the organization. Maintain a culture that instills trust and encourages collaboration and decision-making in the best interest of ACG and its employees. Promote data consistency, accuracy, and completeness to provide real-time reporting and analytics to enable informed and accelerated business decisions. Oversee activities of professional staff responsible for administering all aspects of Talent Acquisition processes and programs. Ensure that staff is trained, developed and equipped with the expertise to complete assignments, address and resolve employee inquiries and HR related issues. Maintain effective resource planning to maximize productivity. Implementing continuous process improvement/optimization initiatives to ensure efficient operations. Create and ensure adherence to department budgets. Build and establish credibility throughout the organization by maintaining positive work relationships with operations and corporate partners. Collaborate across groups to influence and engage employees at all levels of the organization. Serve as an advisor to internal business leaders and key stakeholders regarding HR policies and procedures. Cultivate positive community relationships. Provide guidance for projects, reporting and special assignments within assigned COE. Monitor progress and evaluate the ROI of programs to ensure that standards are maintained and consistent with strategic objectives. Regularly assess the competitiveness of the programs against other comparable industries and markets. Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Select, hire, train, develop, counsel and discipline assigned staff in accordance with corporate and Human Resource policies and procedures. Manage a team of Managers, Supervisors and professional staff.
  • Leadership Responsibilities: Leading and developing talent, creating a positive and motivating working environment. Visible role model for leading the corporate culture, ethical behaviors and commitment to DE&I across the organization. Human leadership to include ability to lead and inspire, display empathy and understanding for contributors as individuals, collaborate with others, be open to different ideas focused on innovation and instill cultural connectedness.
II. Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify) Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field
Experience:
  • 12 years of successful recruiting, leadership and strategic experience, to include:
  • Seven years focused on managing and developing exceptional recruiting teams
  • Demonstrating a strong blend of management skills and technical expertise includingsuperior strategic planning, decision-making, negotiation, and leadership
    • Developing recruitment strategies
    • Recruiting staff at all levels
    • Management consulting
    • Data analysis and interpretation
    • Performance analysis and employee development
    • Program management and execution
    • Identifying and managing project resources
    • Conducting needs assessment
    • Effectively communicating and presenting information to management, peers and external partners
    • Budget management
    • Motivating, influencing and leading others to include business lines, individual contributors and leaders or leaders
Knowledge / Skills: Extensive Knowledge of:
  • Laws and regulations governing Human Resource practices and compliance
  • EEO and affirmative action guidelines
  • State and Federal selection and hiring regulations
  • Program management techniques
  • Client engagement techniques
Ability to:
  • Consult and partner with leaders to include driving strategies and decision making
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills with an aptitude for creative solutions
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned regions and working irregular hours when necessary
  • Position expected on occasions to work evenings and weekends
