The Opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of professional golf. As a PGA Intern, you will work closely with our experienced golf professionals to enhance your skills, learn about golf course management, and contribute to the exceptional golfing experiences we provide to our members and guests.

Duties and Functions:

• Assist with organizing and coordinating golf tournaments and events.
• Provide excellent customer service to members and guests by assisting with check-ins, tee times, and inquiries.
• Work alongside PGA Professionals to deliver golf instruction and clinics to members of all skill levels.
• Participate in the maintenance and upkeep of the golf shop and inventory management.
• Assist with course operations, including pace of play management and course setup.
• Promote golf programs and events through various communication channels.
• Conduct on-course observations and provide suggestions for course improvements.
• Perform administrative tasks, including record-keeping and data entry.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in the golf industry and golf rules.
• Assist in golf club repair and maintenance.

Qualifications Standards:

• Enrolled or recently graduated from a PGA Professional Golf Management program.
• A strong passion for golf and a desire to pursue a career in the golf industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong work ethic and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to work weekends and irregular hours, as required.
• Ability to lift and carry golf equipment, including golf bags.
