Today, the Center for Advanced Imaging is pioneering next-generation technologies that are changing the way we see and understand our world across the electro-optical spectrum. From design to fabrication, we develop and deploy complex imagers for space, scientific imaging, commercial applications, spectroscopy and more.

The Center for Advanced Imaging is searching for a student to join their team. Based in Princeton, NJ, the candidate would join a multidisciplinary group dedicated to the development of custom image sensor devices, modules, and systems for numerous commercial, spacecraft, and government applications.



Responsibilities

    Design mechanical parts, and assemblies using SolidWorks.
  • Generate part and assembly travelers.
  • Inspection of parts and assemblies.
  • Assemble cable and wire assemblies.
  • Assist in manufacturing parts and assemblies, Cleanroom Assembly area.
  • Interact with SME, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and program management.
  • Assist with final acceptance testing


Qualifications

  • Current undergraduate student majoring in Mechanical Engineering
  • Due to government contract requirements candidates must be a US Citizen
  • Experience with SolidWorks desirable

The salary range is: $20-$27/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
