Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Channel Sales Manager to oversee our team of channel sales representatives. As Channel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, coaching and mentoring the sales team and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, experience in growing channel relationships, experience creating end user demand, moving through sales funnel to close and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. Position will report to the Head of Sales.

Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company targets and revenue goals.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the inside sales team to meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Provide ongoing training and development to enhance the sales team's skills, product knowledge, and overall performance.
  • Implement effective sales processes, methodologies, and tools to streamline operations and improve sales efficiency.
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts, including lead generation and nurturing.
  • Monitor sales metrics and analyze sales data to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective measures.
  • Foster a positive and supportive team culture, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and operations, to ensure customer success and satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for senior management.



Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field experience.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in inside sales, sales management, or related roles.
  • Experience in both channel development and selling direct to end users
  • Experience in the Industrial Safety market and with its distributors and buying groups
  • Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and sales tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales results and meet or exceed targets.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven with a high level of initiative.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging sales environment.
