Onboarding Administrator

ONBOARDING ADMINISTRATOR

As an Onboarding Administrator, your contributions will ensure the Employee Development team can consistently and quickly provide high-quality learning experiences to all SpaceX employees and new hires. Your efforts will also ensure we can maximize the Employee Development team's potential and impact. We are looking for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and excited to help our team build a strong operational foundation for our learning programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Help create, manage and scale the company's international onboarding program and process
  • Co-manage customer onboarding
  • Serve as the single point of contact for new hires from the time they accept a position until they are integrated with their SpaceX team
  • Track and ensure timely completion of all required onboarding documentation for all new hires including legal documentation
  • Lead design, development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of orientation and onboarding programs
  • Partner with leadership throughout the company to develop and implement team specific onboarding programs
  • Partner with stakeholders across the company to update all new hire information for current company practices and policies
  • Track metrics to evaluate effectiveness of onboarding program, then develop and execute on recommendations for program improvements
  • Schedule and prepare for weekly new hire orientation
  • Communicate with all internal stakeholders regarding the status of new hires
  • Manage logistics and coordination for Employee Development programs: managing & scheduling workshops, booking rooms, printing and preparing all materials, sending communications to participants, and setting up conference rooms
  • Provide outstanding service to our customers by responding in a timely manner to their questions
  • Track, maintain, and order training supplies as needed
  • Monitor enrollment and completion rates of required and optional courses; develop and implement strategies to increase class signups and attendance as needed
  • Actively source new development resources as needed based on requests from fellow team members, the HR team, or people managers
  • Contribute to and create Employee Development course and program creation by finding relevant research and content


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a marketing, human resources, sales, customer service, or administrative capacity

  • Familiarity with SharePoint or other content management system
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HRIS systems
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse and Workday a plus


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Position requires ability to work overtime when needed.
  • This is not a remote position and will require relocation if not already local to the Hawthorne, CA area.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay range:

Onboarding Administrator/Level I: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00/per year

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You will also receive access to comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, short and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, paid parental leave, and various other discounts and perks. You may also accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation and will be eligible for 10 or more paid holidays per year. Exempt employees are eligible for 5 days of sick leave per year.

ITAR REQUIREMENTS:



  • To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. * 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. * 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
