The Digital Strategist is within the Marketing and Communications team and is a key member of Account Services, responsible for helping to strengthen and build the University's brand image and reputation through developing website strategy and management of web and other digital projects. The Marketing Strategist will also assist with projects that support the University's strategic goals as a member of the Marketing Unit. This role will report to the University Relations Account Services Director. This is a 100%, 12-months, annually renewable appointment in the academic professional series (classification 9761MK, M&C Pro 4-Marketing Generalist). Marketing and Content Strategy 45% This is a fully remote position. Specifics about this position will be discussed during the interview stage. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: * BA/BS degree in communications, journalism, marketing, art or related field * Strong verbal/written communication skills About the Department
The Account Services team is a part of the Marketing and Communications unit within University Relations, the University of Minnesota's central communications unit. University Relations promotes pride, trust, and understanding of the University to internal and external audiences, working extensively with the Office of the President and other central units at the University as well as four health sciences colleges.
