We are looking for a bilingual Marketplace Enrollment Specialist who wants to make a difference in the community through patient outreach, advocacy, and strong teamwork. Our Marketplace Enrollment Specialists assist patients and community members with understanding and completing the enrollment process through the Health Insurance Marketplace exchanges. They screen the patients and community members for program eligibility and help them navigate the system, tracking their progress along the way. The Marketplace Enrollment Specialists also attend outreach events educate the public and increase interest in the program. In addition to Marketplace Enrollment duties, they also do Medicaid enrollments, Region 6 enrollments, and they set up sliding fee scales for patients as needed.

This is a full-time position located on our main campus in South Omaha (30th & L.) The schedule will be 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri. There will be occasional evenings and weekends to attend community outreach events.

To ensure the safety of our patients, employees, and communities, OneWorld Community Health Centers is requiring all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 effective November 15th, 2021. Exemptions may be granted for religious or medical accommodations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required.

- Associate's degree in Human Services, Social Services, Public Health or related field preferred.
- 2 or more years of experience in a medical office or finance department preferred.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel, required.

- Proficiency in both English and Spanish required.

- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and public speaking) required.

- Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently required.

- Demonstrated understanding of healthcare billing, health insurance, and/or accounting practices.

- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with diverse populations and backgrounds.

- Ability and willingness to travel to outreach events as needed. Valid driver's license and automobile insurance required.
