Sr. HR Coordinator

Overview:

The Senior Human Resources Coordinator supports Olgoonik Development LLC and its subsidiaries, completing administrative Human Resource tasks, with limited direction and oversight, in the areas of onboarding, recruiting, benefits and employee records as assigned.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and completes onboarding, benefits, and employee records activities and tasks for new hires ensuring timely monitoring and completion.
  • Performs data entry of employee information into various HR and Benefits systems for new hires, benefit enrollments, and employment changes, and ensures accuracy of the data entered.
  • Works collaboratively with and takes guidance from the Senior Benefits Administrator in matters pertaining to the Benefits area. Reconciles benefits invoices, completes benefits monthly reports and supports open enrollment activities.
  • Supports and processes employment and benefit changes, employment verifications, and end of employment actions.
  • Supports recruitment functions, as assigned, which may include forwarding applications, scheduling interviews, drafting offer letters and other administrative support tasks.
  • Supports employee records processes in the timely maintenance of employee and benefit files, ensuring documents are complete and accurate, and supports document retention processes.
  • Collaborates in the management of department email inboxes, responding to employee questions in a timely manner.
  • Provides support and follow-up communications to employees regarding company policies, procedures, and employment documents, and responds to general human resources employee questions.
  • Prepares human resource reports and participates in audit activities as assigned.
  • Assists with teambuilding events for the OD Corporate Offices, such as holiday celebrations, quarterly meetings, and annual picnic, and performs activities in support of company employee recognition programs.
  • Completes special projects in support of other team members.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.


Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma required. An associate degree is preferred.
  • Three (3) years of administrative experience working in a professional capacity with confidential and or sensitive information is required.
  • Two years of experience in human resources is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic HR concepts, policies and procedures is preferred.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Must have strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Must possess a demonstrated proficiency in data entry, accessing data, and reporting.
  • Must demonstrate an excellent attitude and ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.

Work Environment:

General office environment. Some travel both domestically and internationally may be required based on business demands.
